The groundbreaking technology of Jahnke DJ-8 NVD
Jahnke DJ-8 night vision devices are exclusively equipped with brand- new Photonis image intensifier tubes made in western Europe. In addition they come with sophisticated spacing oculars with a gap to the eyes of more than 6 cm and special IR corrected lenses with a 1x,3x,5x or 7.5x magnification. Their small, all-metal, single piece and extremely robust case make them comfortable to use.
The performance data of our devices ares impressive. Nevertheless, they should only be used for getting a first impression. Product comparisons on the basis of technical data can be misleading as some providers are not really precise when it comes to values. Only a test under real conditions will show if impressive data are a guarantee for outstanding performance that meets your requirements. About our IR lamps for night vision devices
Often, it is too dark even for the best residual-light amplifier. Under such conditions an IR lamp provides help. Generally, it allows you to increase the image quality. Setting the image focus correctly is only possible by using an IR lamp in many situations. Another interesting aspect is the reflection of the invisible light in the eyes of game. By pivoting the night vision device it can be easier to detect e.g. a pack of sows on the edge of a forest. Using an IR lamp significantly improves performance and image quality. That is why we recommend using an IR lamp even with high-performance devices.
What our IR lamps are like:
- 450mW LED lamp
- range of 300m and more
- large illuminated area ( 10m from a 50m distance)
- evenly spread illumination
- step switch for brightness control 25%, 50%, 75% und 100%
- the working range is between 850 and 875 nm and therefore invisible for game
- no effects on your health, unlike laser, IR lamps do not cause eye damages
- operating time about 50 hours
- power supply CR123 A batteries

Available since February 2015: Our new IR lamp „Phoenix Focus“ with state-of-the art LED technology

Why Phoenix Focus is superior to common IR lamps and IR lasers:
- higher brightness and longer range
- better quality of illumination for improved depth of field and image quality
- light can be focused
- the working range of 875nm makes the light invisible for game
